Kitchen Renovation
This contemporary kitchen design combined the Owner's need for a compact layout opening to the dining/living area. This project is featured to show our ability to provide photo-realistic renderings of proposed work. -
Lakeshore Residence
A major addition and renovation of 1970's A-frame transformed this home into a New England Shingle Style residence, inside and out. The three story building was designed to be a retirement home with plenty of space for visiting children and grandchildren. -
Black Box Theatre, University of North Alabama
The George S. Linsey Theatre and Enest Borgnine Perfomance Hall on the University of North Alabama campus is the home of a state of the art "black box" perfomance space. The Perfomance Hall is capable of accomodating the most current trends of contemorary theatre, including productions not limited to a prescribed stage area. The space alloews for variable set designs and audience seating configurations. The totally black space is lined with sound absorbing panels on the ceiling and walls and has a sprung floor. The upper level gallery contains a control console for the digital sound system and 90 circuit lighting grid. -
Railroad Transportation Museum
The Tuscumbia Railway Museum, Tuscumbia, Alabama is located at the old downtown train station and freight depot. Hill & Jangaard Architects, P.C. developed a two-phase expansion program for the museum. The first phase includes a museum building with a design based on recreating the appearance of a 19th ceuntury roundhouse and will be connected by railroad tracks to an original locomotive turntable. The building houses a diesel locomotive and will house a steam locomotive and related displays. The second phase will include construction of a theater housed in a replica of a 19th century rail car, the outdoor train display areas and an operating train station. Track will be constructed connecting the train station to the turntable and roundhouse allowing locomotives and coaches to move on the site.
